Automatic capping systems are systems that correctly guide and place the appropriate caps on bottles moving along a conveyor belt.
These systems take the caps from a hopper, correct their orientation, and precisely place them onto the bottles. Screwing, hammering, or tightening occurs after this placement step.
It is used especially in high-speed production lines to increase efficiency and reduce manual labor.
Operating Principle and Packaging Compatibility
The caps are taken from a vibrating bunker or disc separator and guided along a capping rail to the positioning tower. When a bottle arrives, it is detected by a sensor, and the cap is released onto the bottle by a pneumatic piston or rotary arm.
