Snap-on closure systems are automated systems that enable push-on (press-on) caps, which have no screw threads, to be forcefully fitted onto the opening of the product.
These systems operate with special pressure mechanisms to ensure both proper placement and leak-proof sealing of the lids, which have a claw-like structure.
The system is widely used in perfume caps, cream container lids, childproof caps, and some pharmaceutical packaging.
Even pressure is applied to each product without the need for manual intervention, ensuring high repeatability. It is manufactured in a closed and hygienic design, compliant with GMP standards.
Operating Principle and Packaging Compatibility
As the product moves along the conveyor, the cap on the bottle comes under a pressure head.
This head can be pneumatic, mechanical, or servo-assisted. The head moves downwards, forcefully clamping and securing the cover onto the product.
