Screw capping systems are systems that automatically tighten plastic or metal screw caps onto bottle necks.
In these systems, torque-controlled caps ensure each cap is applied with the desired tightness, guaranteeing a leak-proof product.
It can be scaled according to the production line with inline (single-head) or rotary (multi-head rotary system) types.
The lid, usually placed at the previous station, is rotated at this station and screwed onto the product's opening. The system offers high speed, torque precision, and a hygienic design.
The bottle moves along the conveyor belt with the cap already in place. When the product reaches the servo-motor-controlled crimping head, the head rotates and crimps the cap to the desired torque.
Torque adjustment can be done manually or automatically, depending on the product's form factor.
